Antonia Martinez Rivera

Antonia Rivera (77) passed away December 10, 2025, in Lubbock, TX. She was born on April 20, 1948, to Antonio and Jesusa (Perez) Martinez, in Galveston, TX. Antonia married Eulojio Rivera on February 23, 1974, and to this union they had 5 children: Vincent, Sylvia, Roy, Priscilla, and Danny. Antonia and Eulojio were business partners, owning and operating Rivera’s Janitorial Service. Antonia was a Christian at heart, of the Catholic faith, and a member at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Lubbock. One of Antonia’s favorite things to do was cooking.

Antonia was preceded in death by her husband, Eulojio Rivera, her father and mother, Antonio and Jesusa Martinez, and 2 sisters, Delia Garcia and Sandy Andrade. Those remaining to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy are, her children, Vincent Pedroza, Sylvia Rivera, Roy Rivera, Priscilla Rivera, and Danny Rivera, a sister, Lenora Andrade, and a brother Esquivel Martinez; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family of Antonia Rivera will honor her life with a visitation, from 2:00pm-8:00pm, Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Venue on Broadway (2202 Broadway St., Combest Funeral Home, Lubbock) and a funeral service at 10:00am, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Venue on Broadway St., burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
