Becky Lea Wilson, 53, of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022.
Becky was born on July 27, 1969 in Gorman, Texas to Richard Alvin Breshers and Mary Kathaleen Breshers. She was raised in Lubbock and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1988. She had lived in the DFW-Arlington area, but most of her time in Lubbock. She had worked in administration for Second Baptist Church in Lubbock and Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She married Donald Wayne Wilson on January 10, 1997 in Lubbock. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her cats, Sebastian and Dakota. She will be remembered for her home style cooking like chicken and dumplings, baked mac and cheese, and chicken fried steaks. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, and playing Pequeno board games with her ladies from church. She loved life and was always welcoming to others. She could be known for being funny at times, and her funny facial expressions. She was a member of Church on the Rock and had supported Marine Mom’s.
Becky is survived by her 5 children, T.J. and Melissa Wilson of Lubbock, Randy and Stephanie Wilson of Lubbock, Jeremiah and Stormie Wilson of Idalou, Rebecca Day and Lendon Partain of Andrews and Joshua Day of Lubbock, brother, Richard and Stacy Breshers of Wolfforth, sister, Melba and Jonathan Folsom of Plainview, and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, on July 6, 2020, and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Church on the Rock South Campus, 10503 Slide Road, in Lubbock. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Combest Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Lubbock.
