Bessie Hibbetts of Idalou passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 after a lengthy illness.  She was born to Jim and Mary Shults on November 15, 1915 in Alamogordo, New Mexico.  Bessie married Henry Everett Hibbetts on September 11, 1939.  She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four children, Jim and Jerry, both of Eagar, AZ, Marty of Vail, AZ and Mia of Idalou; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Spur Fire Department or Dickens County Senior Citizens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Combest Family Funeral Homes in Idalou.  Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Idalou with interment to follow at the Dickens County Cemetery in Dickens.
