Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Billy G. Kulms passed from this life into the next peacefully on January 19, 2025. He was 80 years old.
Billy was born on June 24, 1944 to Gordy and Selma Kulms of Brownfield, Texas. Billy was one of 5 children in the Kulms household. Later on in his life he would go on to meet a lady by the name of Nancy Jones. She was the love of his life, and the two would become one in Ropesville, Texas on December 7, 1963. Together, Billy and Nancy had three amazing children. Boyd, who is the only son, and the only boy. They would welcome him on April 8, 1965. The next to come into the Kulms home, would be Jeana, who was born on June 3, 1967. Finally, the couple would welcome the baby, Sandra on January 2, 1970. Billy and his family would move to Anton, Texas in 1973, and in 1975 the family began attending the First Baptist Church, and remained faithful to the Lord.
Billy spent most of his life working on the farm and being outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, go to church, spend time with his family, play chess, checkers, croquet, and horseshoes. On Sunday mornings you could find him and his wife at the First Baptist Church in Anton, Texas.
Billy is survived by his wife Nancy of the home, in Anton, Texas; Boyd and his wife Missy Kulms, also of Anton, Texas; daughters, Jeana Fendley and husband Dale of Arkansas and Sandra Graham and husband Richard of Lubbock, Texas; 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two siblings, Dorthy of Brownfield, Texas and Charlie of Lubbock, Texas.
He was preceeded in death by both his parents, his brother August and sister Ida Marie.
