Blade Paris

Blade Preston Paris, our beloved son, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026,at the age of 14.  He was born on October 7, 2011, to Brent and Lindsay (Preston) Paris.  Blade was a vibrant spirit whose remarkable intelligence and larger-than-life personality made him a centerpiece of joy for all who encountered him. He was a student at Shallowater Middle School, where he flourished both academically and athletically, displaying talents that were as boundless as his aspirations. His innate ability to engage with others, paired with an infectious smile, made him a wonderful friend.

He is survived by his parents, Brent and Lindsay Paris and sister, Blair Paris, all of Shallowater; grandparents, Pug and Pam Paris and Danny and Amy Preston, all of Tahoka; great-grandmothers, Betty Stewart of Lubbock and Jody McNiel of Tahoka; as well as an extended family that includes Kyle and Kasey Preston and family, and Dusty and Brek Young and family. 

Blade was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Leslie and Maxine Paris, Donald and Sylvia Preston, Bobby G. Stewart and Willis McNiel.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Madewell Estates in Wilson
