Bobby Dale Brown

Bobby D. Brown, 84, of Idalou, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, surrounded by family. Born on July 4, 1941, Bobby lived a life of hard work and dedication to those he loved. He spent more than 56 years as a cotton farmer and was known for his strong work ethic, willingness to help others and being a little ornery. Bobby loved the outdoors and cotton farming. Most of all, he treasured time with family and friends. His humor, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sharon Brown; their son, Bret Brown and wife Kalah; grandson, Brent Brown; and brother, Jerry Brown.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Brown and Floyd Brown, his sister, Francis Reynolds and granddaughter Brandi Brown.

Visitation will be at 9:00 am, Monday, June 22, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Lorenzo with services starting at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield. 

The family thanks all who supported Bobby during his final days. His legacy, integrity, and service will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
