Bonnie Matney

December 11, 1951 — April 6, 2026

Bonnie Sue Matney (Rohrbacher), 74, of Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on April 6, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a legacy of strength, kindness, and unwavering love.

She is survived by her children, Scott Herhold and his spouse, Heather, and Jason Herhold and his spouse, Elaine. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Allison, Jake, Kaden, Caiden, Evan, Rylie, and Wren Herhold—each one holding a special place in her heart. Being “Nana” was one of her greatest joys, and she loved each of her grandchildren with an unconditional love that will stay with them forever.

Bonnie was retired from her work as a business office manager, where she was known for her dedication and dependability. But her true life’s work was the love she poured into her family.

She found peace in the simple things—getting lost in a good book, creating something beautiful with her hands through crocheting, and spending time with the people she loved most. She didn’t need anything extravagant; her joy came from connection, from giving, and from being present.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

At the request of the family flowers, cards, and thoughts may be sent to 805 County Road 7715 Lubbock, TX 79423.
