Brenda Joy Findley of Lubbock, a cherished mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born on July 31, 1951 in Lubbock to Orvin and Cleon (Brantley) Callihan. Growing up in Lubbock, Brenda was a proud graduate of Coronado High School. Her nurturing personality extended far and wide. She was known for her kindness and attentiveness, often taking care to delve into the details that mattered most. For over two decades, Brenda devoted herself to the Trinity Christian High School Athletic Department, where she became a beloved figure to parents and students alike. Her tenure in this role was not merely a career; it was a calling. The friendships that were made flourished alongside the achievements of the young athletes she encouraged. Brenda embraced the journey of supporting her own children as they pursued their athletic endeavors, instilling within them a profound lesson to "go the extra mile and always do your best."
Those left to cherish her memory are children, Tiffani Allamon of Lubbock and Ryan Findley and wife Karen of Carthage, North Carolina; grandchildren, Keyton Allamon, Ryan Findley, and William Findley; and sister, Paula Black and husband Rick of Lubbock.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles Lynn Findley who passed away June 17, 2018
