Brian Stephen Miller

Brian Stephen Miller, 71, of Levelland, and loving husband of Elizabeth Miller, MD, passed away late Friday evening on August 29, 2025. He was born on July 19, 1954, in Niskayuna, Schenectady County, New York, to the late Kirkland L. Miller and Wilhelmina Teresa (Huehn) Miller.

He attended Memorial High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduating with the senior class of 1972. He furthered his education by attending the University of Oklahoma, where he was a proud “Boomer Sooner” as he played football as a lineman for the team from 1972 to 1974. After his stint at OU, he attended Tulsa University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Brian met the love of his life, Elizabeth Jane Ready, and they were married on August 16, 1986, in Midland, Texas.

He worked for the United States Postal Service as an electronics technician and mail sorter in Midland for 25 years, before retiring in 2004. He was a proud member of the Porsche Club, as he was an avid car collector. He was also a member of the Lubbock Boxing Club and, of course, loved the game of football with the Sooners as his all-time favorite team.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Miller; two sisters: Connie Miller of Lubbock and Laurie Spottedhorse of Midland; and one brother, Kirkland Miller of Greer, South Carolina.

There will be a Memorial Visitation from 4 to 6 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway, next to Combest Family Funeral Home.  This will be a time of mingling and sharing of thoughts about Brian.  Finger foods and refreshments will be available.

Cremation arrangements were under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory in Lubbock.
