Bruce Allen Gott of Lubbock was born on November 15, 1955, and passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy marked by passion, kindness, and unwavering dedication to the things he loved most. He was the beloved son of Claudie Lee Gott and Annie Lois Cadenhead.
Bruce’s life was filled with vibrant interests and a warm heart. He was a true car enthusiast where he found joy in the beauty of classic automobiles and the thrill of restoration and transformation. He was also a devoted animal lover where he would welcome his home to any rescue animal that caught his eye with unconditional love and care. His passion for nature extended to his yard, which he took great pride in maintaining as a peaceful and beautiful retreat.
An adventurous soul, Bruce loved to travel and explore new places, always chasing the next great experience. Among his greatest joys was playing competitive foosball—a game he not only excelled at but one that took him all across the United States where he competed in and won numerous tournaments. His skill, determination, and love for the sport earned him a respected name in the foosball community.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Lisa, who stood by his side through every chapter of life; his cherished children, Bethany Gott and Addison Gott, both of Lubbock, who were his pride and joy; sisters, Mary Sue Reaves of Guntersville, Alabama and Sharon Gore and husband Tim of Lubbock; and countless friends and extended family who will miss his warm presence, easy smile, and generous heart.
The family will host a gathering on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Lone Star Learning, 1715 19th Street (west entrance) from 4:00-6:00 pm. Memorials can be made to an animal shelter or charity of your choice. Bruce will be remembered for his sense of humor, deep compassion, and the meaningful way he lived life—never halfway, always full throttle. Bruce Allen Gott leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well-lived.
