For over three decades, Jack poured his heart into his passion and livelihood—restaurant management, as the proud owner of El Gallito. Many people loved his Mexican food. His restaurant was more than just a place to eat, it was a testament to his unyielding work ethic and his deep-rooted desire to create a home away from home for others.

Known for his kindness and genuine warmth, he had a remarkable talent for making people feel at ease the moment they entered his presence. His great sense of humor lit up rooms and hearts alike, transforming ordinary days into moments of laughter and connection. A lover of life’s simple pleasures, Jack found great joy in fishing and sports—with baseball reigning supreme overall. From childhood to his adult life, he was an avid Yankees baseball fan. Yet, above all else, Jack’s proudest accomplishments were his family and his restaurant—the twin pillars of his legacy. He treasured every moment spent with his loved ones, especially during the holidays when gathering together filled him with immense happiness and a profound sense of belonging.
