Cash Lilley

June 17, 1966 — February 4, 2022

Cash Lilley, 55, of Slaton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 4, 2022. Cash was born on June 17, 1966, in Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.

Cash attended and graduated from Coronado High School in Lubbock. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, who served two tours of duty. He served in Germany and the Iraq War.

He met Nicole Manley, the love of his life, and they were married in Lubbock, Texas.

He worked in law enforcement during his life, as a Deputy Sheriff for the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the Sunray Police Department, and lastly as an officer for the Slaton Police Department. He also worked as a volunteer firefighter and was a truck driver. Cash loved playing his guitar, enjoyed music in general and reading mystery novels and the Bible. He was a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Slaton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nicole Manley-Lilley of Slaton; two sons and three daughters; his father, Larry Don Lilley of Lubbock; two brothers, Stephen Scott Lilley of Austin and Donald Brett Lilley of Lubbock, and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Nell Lilley on April 24, 2010.

Visitation for Cash will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway in Lubbock, and Friday, February 11, 2022, from 9 AM until service time. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Venue on Broadway. Pastor Joe Huddleston, of Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Slaton, will be the officiant. Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions in Cash's memory and honor be directed to Hospice of Lubbock, 3701 21st Street, Lubbock, TX 79410.

The family would like to send a big thank you and special thanks to Hospice of Lubbock for their kind, generous and attentive care given to Cash.
