Charla Vaughn

Charla R. Vaughn, 59, of Lubbock was born on October 26, 1962 and passed from this life on June 9, 2022 unexpectedly at her home. Besides a retired cook, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and keeping up with Days of our Lives! She was born in Lamesa, Texas and was the daughter of Melba Jones and Charles Vaughn.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her best friend, Sammy Maylor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brittney Vaughn and Marci Morales; stepdaughter, Sandra Sanchez; three brothers, Marlon Vaughn, Chad Vaughn and Michael Vaughn; two sisters, Sherry Gass and Shawna Gass; 8 grandchildren, Ethan Davila, Alyssa Garcia, Savannah Garcia, Analeah Garcia, Marques Lawson, Ivan Rosemond, Giana Dominguez and Dravyn Morales and one great grandchild, Hezekyah Lee Davila-Vasquez.

Memorial services for Charla will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church in Gail, Texas.
