Christopher Riddles

Christopher Layne Riddles, 38, of Abernathy, Texas passed away May 16, 2022. Chris was born December 20, 1983 in Lubbock, Texas to Wayne and Linda Riddles. He attended Abernathy High and graduated in 2002. Chris worked as a sheet metal fabricator. He was of the Southern Baptist faith.
In his free time, Chris enjoyed many hobbies. He loved camping, hunting, drawing, and even glass blowing. He will be dearly missed by many friends and family,
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Linda Riddles and his daughter, Reagan Riddles. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Riddles; paternal grandparents, Rev. Lloyd and Shirley Riddles; and maternal grandparents, Donald Rose and Faye Faught Wiley.
A celebration of Chris' life will be held Friday, May 20, 2022 in the Hyatt Hotel Conference Room, 2309 MacDavis Lane, Lubbock, TX 79401, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. The family would like for everyone to share their stories about getting to know Chris. If you do not feel comfortable getting up to speak, there will be an opportunity to write down your memories for Linda, Chris' mom, to read later.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nursing staff at Interim Hospice.
