Clay Daniel Henry, 46, of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday morning, December 21, 2025. Clay is spending Christmas with Jesus and family. He is healed! He battled the effects of Crohn's disease and health issues that followed him all his life.

Clay was born on July 9, 1979, in Canyon, Randall County, Texas, to Mary Beth (Ward) Walker and the late Ronald Eugene Henry. Clay attended Amarillo and Lubbock schools and graduated with the Class of 1997 from Coronado High School.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his parents, Mary Beth and Don Walker of Lubbock; his siblings, Becca Walker of Charlottesville, VA, Jessica Henry of Houston, and Heather Hurt of Austin; his grandmother, Sybol Henry of Noble, OK; his aunts and uncles, Gary and Lisa Ward, Jim and Beth Ward, Dwain and Susie Walker, Rick Henry and Terry Walker; and many beloved cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Eugene Henry; his brother, Ben Henry; his best friend, Katy Gallagher; and his grandparents, Jim and Jackie Ward, and Gene Henry.

Graveside services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery in Umbarger on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 3 PM. Gary Ward will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Clay’s name to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery, PO Box 105, Umbarger, TX 79091 or the Salvation Army, Lubbock Chapter, 1111 16th Street, Lubbock, 79401.
