Cynthia Howard

Cynthia Victoria Howard gracefully departed this world on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in Snyder, Texas at the age of 87. Born on February 13, 1938, in Indian Trail, North Carolina, she graduated and on to achieve her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) designation, dedicating herself tirelessly to caring for others in several nursing facilities. Her compassionate nature eventually led her to further her studies and transition into a rewarding career as a nurse, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals who were fortunate enough to receive her tender care. Later in life, Cynthia returned to school to become a tax preparer for H&R Block.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Greg Howard of Lubbock and Donna Kay Burns of Minnesota, along with her three cherished grandchildren, Dane Christopher Parsons, Kim Burns, and Brian Burns. 

Cynthia now joins her late husband, George Wesley Howard, who predeceased her in 1998, as well as her son, Grayson William Howard, daughter, Dawn Lynn Parsons, and granddaughter, Raina Parsons. 

Services will be at a later date at the Arlington National Cemetery.
