Dale Ray Bradley, 58, passed away on February 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving and supportive family. He was born on September 22, 1967, in Plainview, Texas, to Patrick Dale Bradley and Sally Edna Horton.
Raised in Littlefield, Texas, Dale graduated from Littlefield High School in 1986. Growing up in a small town shaped his character, instilling in him a lifelong passion for supporting others. He participated in many activities, especially sports; he was passionate and competitive at heart. On top of all of the fun and good times he had as a small town kid, Dale was incredibly close with his family. His parents and brother shaped much of the man he became.
Time spent in church with his parents and at Ceta Canyon church camps formed another important chapter of Dale’s early life. Dale attended Texas Tech university and was a big part of the Wesley student ministry there. He was a leader of faith with his peers and even became a youth director during his college and young adult years. The connections he made through all of these times carried him to many opportunities and friendships throughout his life.
Dale believed in showing up for his community, and shared this value deeply with his family. Whether it was a school activity, sporting event, church event, or a neighbor in need, Dale was there.
Above all, Dale was a fixture at his children’s events. He understood that being present was the greatest gift he could give, and he took immense pride in being their biggest supporter in every milestone and activity. He taught them how to live life to the fullest, and he shared his experience, talents, and faith with his children to give them a firm foundation for the rest of their lives.
On February 14, 1996, Dale married the love of his life, Amanda “Mandi” Jill Bailey, in Lubbock, Texas. In the next 6 years, they grew their family by welcoming 4 children to the world. Seeking a small-town environment for their kids, like Dale’s own childhood, they moved to Sundown, TX, which particularly stood out for its excellent school system. Together, they built a life rooted in unwavering love and a commitment to family.
An entrepreneur at heart, Dale spent his career building and managing. He worked with his parents at their store, Tis’ Christmas; he always loved decorating and celebrating Christmas as it reminded him of this time with his mom. From 2000 to 2010, he served as a Regional Manager for Dustee’s Fashion Accessories, where he oversaw the opening and operation of several locations. In 2010, he transitioned into real estate by managing rental properties, and further expanded his expertise in 2021 by becoming a professional home inspector. Across all seasons of life, Dale’s family was always his priority.
Dale was a man of action and faith. A member of the First Methodist Church in Lubbock for over 12 years, he served on several committees and volunteered his time wherever it was needed. He found great joy in working on home projects and was always the first to offer a helping hand to others. His heart for the Lord showed in each and every part of his life, from his family, to all the people he touched along the way.
Dale is survived by his wife, Mandi; his children: daughter Audrey Bradley-Smith & husband Trevor, daughter Carleigh Filimonchuk & husband Robert, son Carter Bradley, and son Bishop Bradley & wife Cayley; 5 grandchildren & 2 on the way: Callen, Stetson, Rylie Rey, Cheyanne, & Ruthie; his father, Pat Bradley; and his brother, Craig Bradley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Bradley.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:30 am, at First United Methodist Church of Lubbock. 1411 Broadway St. Lubbock, TX 79401
Memorials or donations may be made to Family Promise of Lubbock in Dale’s name.
"Dale’s life was a testament to the power of showing up & investing in people. May we all live as he did—with a servant's heart, a helping hand, and a front-row seat for the people who matter most."
