David Lee Garcia, III

David Lee Garcia, III, born on May 22, 1990, in Plainview, Texas, passed away on March 21, 2026, in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. He will be remembered as a devoted family man, a dedicated worker, and a person who brought happiness to all who knew him.

David graduated from Olton High School in 2009 and went on to earn his Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration from South Plains College. His career was marked by a decade of commitment and leadership as the General Manager of Church's Chicken Restaurant in Lubbock, TX. Throughout his professional life, David demonstrated a remarkable work ethic and an unwavering dedication to his craft.

Those who knew David remember him as an amazing dad and a great uncle with a big, wonderful heart. He was always cheerful and carried a positive spirit that touched the lives of family and friends alike. Outside of his work, David had a passion for riding his motorcycle and traveling. He deeply valued spending time with his son, family, and friends.

He is survived by his beloved son, Camden David Garcia; his mother, Melissa Garcia; his father, David Garcia Jr.; siblings Scott Garcia and his wife Yvonne, Danielle Garcia, Zayen Garcia, Jordan Garcia, and Isaac Garcia. David was also cherished by his grandparents Dagoberto Longoria, Adelphia Longoria, and David Garcia, Sr., as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Paul Garcia, Candace Garcia, Ava Garcia, Eric Jay, and Destiny Garcia.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lupe Romero and Matias Romero, whose memories he held dear.

David's life will be honored at a viewing beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on March 27, 2026. Both events will take place at Combest Family Funeral Home, located at 2210 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401.

David Lee Garcia, III leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and joy. His presence will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will remain vibrant in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
