Diane (Kieschnick) Sanderlin, 74, of Ashland City, Tennessee, and a former resident of West Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 8, 2024. Diane was born on February 17, 1949, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Henry Otto Kieschnick and Bernice Murleen (Simank) Kieschnick.
Diane attended O’Donnell High School, graduating with the senior class on May 22, 1967. She later attended Draughn’s School of Business.
Diane was raised by her parents as a devout Lutheran, was baptized on March 13, 1949, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wilson and was confirmed on April 7, 1963, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lubbock. Diane was a lady who loved our Lord Jesus. Her days were spent doing right and serving others, which is maybe why she won the hearts of so many people. She was the bright lady that always had a morning smile. Diane attended and graduated from New Life Bible School where she completed her studies in the School of Ministry.
Diane worked as a waitress and was a hands on worker for many businesses and was always looking for an extra job so that she could bless her two sons while blessing others anyway she could. She worked as a Postal Clerk at Vanderbilt Hospital for 20 years, before retiring in 2017.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include two sons: Kevin Langham of Kingsland and Devin Langham of Texas; one brother: Wayne Kieschnick of O’Donnell; one sister: Debbie Pallmeyer and husband Will of China Spring, Texas; two special friends in Tennessee, Lorri Jones and Angela Simons, as well as extended family members and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
