Donna Gail Tidwell

Born on April 22, 1945, in Beaumont, Texas, Donna was the daughter of the late Irene Margaret Caywood and Nelson Robert Davis. She graduated from Nederland High School in 1963 and pursued her passion for education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas A&I University (now Texas A&M University-Kingsville).

Donna dedicated several years to teaching Home Economics at various Texas high schools, including Boerne High School, Balmorhea High School, and Junction High School, where she shaped the lives of countless students.

After her teaching career, she transitioned into sales and marketing for medical equipment manufacturers while living in Houston, Texas. Her natural drive and charisma led to great success, and she was honored with numerous sales awards throughout her tenure.

Later in life, Donna returned to her creative roots by founding One Only, a fabric arts company, where she channeled her artistry and entrepreneurial spirit.

Donna is survived by her loving son, Robert Tidwell, and her cherished sisters, Mary Patricia Newman and Charolette Ruth Addison. She joins her parents, Irene and Nelson Davis, and her brother Nelson Robert Davis, Jr. who preceded her in death.

Donna's warmth, dedication, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by her family, former colleagues, and friends.
