Donna M. Adams

Donna M. Adams, 79, of Lubbock, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning, March 31, 2023.  Donna was born on April 20, 1943, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late James Henry Bentley and Kathryn LaVelle (Vardeman) Bentley.

Donna has been a life-long resident of Lubbock.  She attended Monterey High School, graduating in 1961.  She also attended Jessie Lee’s Cosmetology School.  Donna loved fashion and interior design and was a sales associate with Dillard’s in Lubbock for over 15 years.  She enjoyed family meals and being with family and friends.  According to her family, she was the best Mom, Grandma and Sister, and the best person in her family.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory include one daughter, Sasha R. Prosser and her husband Ted of Levelland; one sister, Renee Gray and her husband Ross of Austin; one brother, Gary Bentley of Lubbock; a treasured grandson, Chandler K. Neinast of Lubbock; many nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Burrell Bentley.

A time of reflection and visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the Oak Crest Suite of Combest Family Funeral Home, 2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX.  Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.  Chaplain David Eppler, with Hospice of the South Plains, will be the officiant.  Final rites and interment are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ted Prosser, Chandler K. Neinast, Ross Gray, Dylan Gray, Jake Bentley and Bret Bentley.
