Elizabeth Clark Spikes, 82, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 5, 2022. She was born on May 7, 1939, in Frost, Navarro County, Texas, to the late William Snowden Bigbie and Nancie Nadine (Dickson) Bigbie.

She was previously married to William George Rainwater, who preceded her in death in 1964. She then married Raymond Thomas Clark, who preceded her in death in 1989, and then married Sammy Wayne Spikes on November 28, 1991. Mr. Spikes preceded her in death on November 28, 2016.

Elizabeth loved to garden, doing all kinds of yard work, decorating and being with family. She was a prayer warrior and member of the Golden Girls group, and bible study group at her church. She was also a member of the Alanon group. Her first and foremost interest was being with her beloved Sammy. She was a member of South Park Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Trishia McEachern and her husband Larry of Lubbock, Vikee Thomas and her husband J. W. of McKinney; her other loving children, Cara Brown, Cathi Dunn, Mike Spikes and his wife Laura, Cody Spikes and his wife Kim and Cindi Gibson and her husband Jody and April Clark; one brother, Gary Bigbie and his wife Marie of Washington state; one sister, Beverly Pugh of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 16 grandchildren, Lindsey and her husband Kurht, Ally and her husband Brett, Hope and her husband Bryan, Christian, Jordan, Jennifer and her husband Adonis, Micheal, Kelsey and her husband Raymond, Casey, Shannon, Spencer, Jason, Ashley and her husband Derrick, Kyle and his wife Cassidy, Tiffany and her husband Cory, and Tori; 19 great-grandchildren, Breckyn, Grey, A. J., Harper, Memphis, Lexi and her husband Sam, Layni, Cayson, Tatey, Bayli, Tucker, Cooper and Cooper, Jayden, Jaydenl, Cayden, Willow, Laila and Ella; 1 great-great grandson, Remy; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, parents, children, Diane Carroll, Mary Lou Davis and Steve Clark; one brother, James Bigbie, and one sister, Wanda Cushing.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at South Park Baptist Church, with Brother Brad officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in her memory be made to the Lubbock Meals on Wheels, 2304 34th Street, Lubbock, TX 79411.
