Eric Brandon Saldana, a cherished son, devoted husband, and adoring father, left this world on November 25, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him. Born on October 15, 1999, Eric was the embodiment of enthusiasm and passion, nurturing the hearts of many throughout his short but vibrant life.
In his professional journey, Eric showcased his skills as a mechanic and proud member of the team at Quick Stripe Paving Inc. His work ethic was unparalleled, reflecting a commitment to excellence that resonated with his colleagues and clients alike. A testament to his dedication and ingenuity, Eric’s contributions extended beyond mere tasks; he sculpted each project with a labor of love, earning the respect and admiration of those around him.
Educated through the halls of high school, Eric transitioned into adulthood with the ambition to better his community. Among his proudest accomplishments, he found immense joy in coaching sports, nurturing not only his children but the youth of his community, instilling in them the values of teamwork and perseverance. His ability to connect with young minds, to inspire, and to elevate spirits will remain firmly etched in the memories of those he coached.
Outside the realm of career and coaching, Eric’s multifaceted personality shone brightly through his hobbies and interests. His passion for dog breeding, welding, and dancing underscored an appreciation for both creativity and companionship. It was in these activities that Eric found solace, joy, and a means to express his vibrant spirit.
Eric is survived by his adoring wife, Marisol Saldana, alongside his beloved children: Azalea, Elyanna, Haisley, and Eric Jr. Saldana, each of whom carries a piece of his legacy. He is also survived by his loving parents, Bibian Saldana, Jr. and Debbie Saldana, siblings Alexia Saldana, Zaiden Perez, and Marcos Saldana. The warmth of familial bonds extends to his maternal grandparents, Oscar and Betty Garcia, and paternal grandparents, Delores and Primitivo Camacho. Furthermore, his nephew and niece, Kassius Ramos, Eli Duran, Alijah Saldana, Zachariah Saldana, and Eleah Saldana, will forever treasure the memories they created with their beloved uncle.
Eric was preceded in death by several family members who await him in a realm beyond this earthly existence: his great-grandparents, Salome and Jesusa Saldana, and Jose and Sanjuana Garcia; his grandfather, Bibian Saldana, Sr.; uncle, Martin Saldana; and brother, Andrew Ray Saldana. Their spirits will undoubtedly welcome him with open arms, as they share a bond that transcends time and space.

Private visitation will take place on December 3,2025, from 6:00 PM- 8:00PM at the Combest Family Funeral Home in Tahoka. A Mass to Celebrate Eric's Lie will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church on December 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, After which he will be laid to rest at Nevels Memorial Cemetery. As we bid Farewell to Eric Brandon Saldana, let us carry forward the Joy he brought into our lives and honor his memory with every smile we share and every act of kindness we extend to others.
