Etta Harrison

Etta May Box (Boxie) Harrison was born July 24, 1931, in Albany, Texas, to Noah Lovell Box and Edna Elaine Hitchcock. She graduated from DeLeon High School as Valedictorian in 1948. She attended Tarleton State and received her BS at North Texas University. She loved teaching and completed 25 years in Brownfield, Idalou, Shallowater, and Petersburg.

She married Kenneth Doyle Harrison on June 27, 1954. They have four sons: Steve (Cindy), Michael (Vickie), Brian (Tori), and Randal (Marty). They also have ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She died February 28, 2023. At her request no services are planned.
