Frederick Smith, Iii

Frederick Paul Smith, III, 54, of Lubbock, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was born on November 14, 1967, in Lubbock, Texas to Fred P. Smith, Jr. and Carolyn Sue (Ashley) Smith.

He attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1986. He was an avid Texas Tech football fan, loving, kind and courageous. He attended Canyon Church and Calvary Baptist Church and was baptized as a young boy. He had a deep faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was of the Baptist faith. His dad was his best friend, and he was a certified ASE mechanic.

Survivors include his parents; one sister, Carolyn Edmondson and her husband Bruce; niece Leah Edmondson; nephew, Levi Edmondson and wife Crystal; great nieces, Savanah and Ellison Edmondson; great nephew, Liam Edmondson; cousins, Marjorie, Jimmie Lou, Wayne, Lance and Sheri; special friends, Rev. Donovan Martin and Cole Shooter. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
