Gloria Hille

Gloria Fay Hille (Erickson), 94, of Lubbock passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023. Gloria was born November 30, 1928, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to George Erickson and Virginia Erikson (Murphy).

A lifelong learner, she was in her 60s when she graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995. She was a keen supporter of Red Raiders athletics, especially the Lady Raiders basketball team.

Gloria was known to be a reliable and hard worker by all who had the honor to know her. When she wasn’t working, she could be found reading a good book, singing in her church’s choirs or maybe attending a Def Leppard concert.

She is survived by her daughter, Erica Hille; nephews Russ Hille, Tom Hille, and Bob Hille, who knew her as “Aunt Gordy”; as well as many more loved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hille, and both parents.
