Due to COVID, the Jackie Swinford family asks that everyone attending the visitation and memorial service wear masks and practice social distancing.
Jackie Lee Swinford, 63 of Tahoka passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. She was born September 3, 1958 to Bobby Jack and Melba Jo (Phillips) Swinford in Longview, Texas. Jackie managed Allsups in Tahoka for more than 28 years before retiring. She loved her job, and her favorite part was the people. Jackie enjoyed interacting with her customers so much, she would still frequently visit after retirement just to see everyone. She enjoyed going to watch her granddaughter's ball games and activities, they were her pride and joy. Jackie loved spending time with family and her precious dog Gracie.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chad Swinford and wife Lea of Tahoka; two granddaughters, Karlie and Kaycee Swinford of Tahoka; siblings, Janice Dube of Wilson, Lorraine Stringer of Austin, Bobbye Bailey and husband Tracy of Lubbock; seven nieces and nephews; and numerous grand nieces and nephews; her bonus kids, Matt Gilbert and Randi Harris; and her good friend, Debbie Sanders.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Melba.
A memorial visitation will be from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Combest Family Funeral Homes Tahoka. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Sweet Street Baptist Church.
Memorial donations in Jackie's name can be made to the Lynn County Hospital.
