Jaime Alvarado, 62, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on July 5, 1963, to Raymundo Alvarado and Amelia Chavez, Jaime lived a life defined by hard work, love for his family, and an unmatched passion for building and creating.
Jaime was best known for his love of cars, especially Fords, never a Chevy. He could take a car from nothing and turn it into a masterpiece, a true reflection of his skill, patience, and creativity. Beyond cars, he was an extraordinary contractor, someone who could do anything he set his mind to. His work ethic was unmatched, always striving to provide for and support his family in every way possible.
Those who knew Jaime will forever remember his contagious laugh, a sound that could brighten even the hardest of days. For those closest to him, the smell of sawdust and motor oil will always bring him to mind, a lasting reminder of the life he built with his hands and his heart.
Jaime’s legacy lives on in the love of his family, the strength of his work, and the many lives he touched with his generosity and determination. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He is survived by his sisters, Leonor Adame, Angie Olivares, Carmen Carranza, and Celia Guzman, and children, Alysha Alvarado, Jaime Alvarado Jr, Jerrod Alvarado, Amanda Alvarado, Ashly Alvarado, Angelica Alvarado, Raymundo Alvarado, and Bobbie Leann Vega.
