Jeanne Frances Johnson

Jeanne Frances Johnson, a loving aunt, sister, and dedicated professional, peacefully passed away on October 2, 2025.

She was born on October 16, 1946, in Weslaco, Texas, to Irene Lucas and Andrew Frederick Buchanan.

Jeanne earned her bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and dedicated many years of her career as the Finance Director for the City of Snyder.

Known for her kindness and spirited personality, Jeanne had a deep and abiding love for dogs, especially white poodles. She was an avid reader and often could be found with a good book, always accompanied by her favorite treats: a Diet Coke and a Kit Kat bar.

Jeanne is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
