Cody Webb, 45, of Lubbock, was gently lifted into heaven to meet his Lord and Savior on Sunday afternoon, July 19, 2026. Cody was born on November 12, 1980, in Plainview, Hale County, Texas, to James David Webb and Claudia Ann (Chapman) Webb.
He was raised in Plainview, graduating from Plainview High School in 1999. He furthered his education by attending San Angelo State University and Wayland Baptist University.
Cody was a fun loving individual who loved his family, especially his three children, who were the love and light of his life. He loved to play his guitar, listen to 90’s and alternative music, and enjoyed shooting sports like trap and skeet. He also enjoyed cooking. Cody always had a fond place in his heart for his critters, from his horse to his dogs and cats. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Plainview.
Those left behind to honor and cherish his memory include his children: Tanner Jacob Webb, Adeline Grace Webb and Beckett Jones Webb; his parents, Jimmy and Claudia Webb a brother, James Coy Webb; a sister, Jessica Colti Callagy and husband Peter; a niece, Ireland Ruby Callagy; a nephew, James “Carter” Cartwright Webb, as well as a host of extended family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5 to 7 PM in the Oak Crest Suite of Combest Family Funeral Home, 2210 Broadway. Burial will take place later in Parklawn Memorial Park in Plainview. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in his memory be sent to the Lubbock SPCA or the Children’s Miracle Network at University Medical Center.
Cody's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone at UMC who took such loving care of him, and special thanks to Dr. Maulin Patel.
