Jesse V. Serda, of Lubbock, TX, passed away on Saturday July 5, 2025. He was born on February 6, 1953, in Lubbock, Tx to the late Guadalupe and Maria Serda. Jesse was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures — especially being outdoors. He loved taking walks at The Canyon Lakes Buddy Holly Park and tending to his home. His pride and joy were his flower garden, where his vibrant red and yellow roses were a constant source of pride and conversation. A man of deep faith, he enjoyed attending church. Jesse loved Jesus and shared that love with everyone around him. His positivity and warmth and his encouraging words were felt by all who knew him. He prayed for the sick and anyone in need of the word of Jesus. He made a positive impact on everyone.
He is survived by his children's Mother Dorthy Serda, his daughter Jessica Robles (Jose) of Corpus Christi, TX, and son Matthew Jess Serda of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Marina Robles, Izaiah Robles (Leann), Mason Serda, and Landon Serda; and great-grandchild, Gideon Robles. He is also survived by his sisters, Gloria Guerra of Lubbock, TX, Elidia Hearne of Indiana, Nora Sanchez of Lubbock, TX, and Martina Hernandez of Lubbock, TX; as well as 21 nieces, 13 nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Lupe Serda and John Serda.
