Jessica passed from this life June 8, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. She was born into this life January 20, 1985, to Arturo Solis and JoAnn Ponciano, in Lubbock, TX.
Jessica grew-up in Lubbock, attended Monterey High School, and graduated in May of 2002. She was a woman who wore her heart on her sleeve, always caring for her family and friends, knowing she was not going to receive the same in return. Jessica was a loving woman, well mannered, and always doing what she had to do to make sure her kids were safe and healthy.
Jessica left 5 kids to carry on her legacy: Dominic Andreas Cruz-Pena, Elijah Nazareth Cruz-Pena, Josiah Jesus Pena, Zariah Kamari Hamilton, and Maurice Lorenzo Byrom. She will always be in their hearts, on their minds, and reflected in their lives.
Jessica is also survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers: Yvonne Lopez, Cynthis Solis, Phillip Solis and Cody Ramirez; her parents Arturo Solis and Joann Ponciano. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janie Cruz.
Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Home, Lubbock. The family will have a memorial service at a later day and time. Please check back for scheduled date, time, and location of the memorial service.
