Jessie Jerome Romero

Jessie Jerome Romero, fondly known to all as Jerome, passed away on December 23, 2025. Born on August 6, 1976, in Portales, New Mexico, to Jessie Ray Romero and Mary Elizabeth Fallon, Jerome lived a life defined by hard work, service, and a vibrant spirit.

After graduating from Clovis High School in 1995, Jerome proudly joined the United States Air Force. He served with honor for 4 years, achieving the rank of Senior Airman. His time in the military instilled in him a sense of discipline and dedication that he carried into his civilian life.

Jerome was a talented contractor and the proud owner of The Bee's Knees Construction. Through his business, he gained a reputation for his exceptional craftsmanship and his willingness to help others bring their projects to life. For Jerome, construction wasn't just a job; it was a way to support and build up his community.

Outside of work, Jerome knew how to enjoy life. Whether he was hitting balls for a round of golf, shooting pool with friends, hiking through nature, or spending an evening dancing, he brought energy and warmth to every room he entered.

He is survived by his parents, Jessie and Mary Romero; his children, Payton, Preston, Eavahna, Alex, Janet, and Ashley Romero; his brothers, Orlando and Angelo Romero; and four cherished grandchildren.

Jerome's presence will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and the many people whose lives he touched through his work and his kindness.
