Joe Joey Clevenger

Joe “Joey” Clevenger of Lubbock died Friday, January 4, 2013 at the age of 55. He was born September 4, 1957 in Levelland to Raymon and Ernestine (Stovall) Clevenger.  Joey married Melanie Knapp on October 25, 1991. He worked as a customer service representative and was a Baptist by faith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Melanie of Lubbock; mother, Ernestine Clevenger; five daughters, Dixie Hill and husband Clint of Austin, Angela Carlson and husband David of Allen, Christina Clevenger and friend Jessica of Virginia Beach, VA, Billie Westbrook and husband Tim of Pflugerville and Rachel Clevenger of Lubbock; sister, Christy Clevenger of Levelland and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Raymon. 

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
