Joe Lynn Wilkinson, 58, of Slaton passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. He was born in Lubbock on October 7, 1963, to Joe Allen and Lyneta Kay (Hendon) Wilkinson. Joe graduated from Estacado High School and went on to earn his Associates degree. He served 2 years in the United States Navy. Joe worked at XFAB in Lubbock for over 20 years. Joe enjoyed camping and fishing.
Those left to cherish his memory are his partner, Amy Henson; children, Cody Wilkinson and Tyler Wilkinson; brother, Darrell Wilkinson; mother Lyneta Hendon; stepchildren, Haley Hollis, Meagan Rosas and Dakota Henson and one grandson, Mason James Rosas.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Allen Wilkinson.
A visitation will be held at Combest Family Funeral Homes, Tahoka on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 1-6pm. Celebration of Life service will be held at Wilson Baptist Church on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 2pm with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow.
