John (Johnny) Moore

John (Johnny) Moore, 84, born September 22, 1928 died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas after a long illness.  He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1940 and was well known and loved for his efforts in promoting Kingdom interests and participating in teaching others the Bible.  Johnny, a general contractor, was a long-standing member of the Lubbock Home Builders Association and was active in constructing quality homes in Lubbock for over 50 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Maudean, also of Lubbock, as well as three children: son, Zan Moore of Plano and his son, Aiden Moore, also of Plano, daughter, Melanie and husband Rick Reynolds of Brooklyn, NY and daughter, Kami and husband Don Fritzen of Santa Barbara, CA.

The family will be hosting a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Central Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6318 34th Street in Lubbock.
