Johnette Havens

Johnette Havens, 87 of Tahoka went to be with her Heavenly father on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was born June 6, 1934, to J.L and Winnie (Owens) Kizziar in Rice, Texas. Johnette graduated from Tahoka High School in 1953. She married Orville Havens on November 3, 1956, in Lubbock. She worked in administration at Lyntegar, Poka Lambro, City of Tahoka, First National Bank Tahoka and retiring from SW Public Services. Johnette enjoyed reading and spending time playing cards with the girls several times a week. She was a member of First Baptist Church Tahoka.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Lammons and husband Cliff of Roundrock, Texas; grandchildren, Colton Lammons of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Sheby Lammons of Lubbock; numerous extend family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Orville; a daughter, Cindy Havens; her parents, J.L and Winnie; brothers, Wayne and Larry Kizziar.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at First Baptist Church Tahoka with burial to follow at Nevels Memorial Park.
