Johnny Joe Enriquez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Johnny Enriquez, who left us on June 15, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on March 11, 1973, Juan Sandoval and Felicita Enriquez, Johnny was a beloved son. He is survived by his seven siblings, who will dearly miss him. Johnny was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jesse and Dominga Enriquez, and his aunt, San Juana.

Johnny attended elementary school at Overton. He found immense joy in the company of his friends and his pals at the Lubbock Day Habilitation Center. A truly gentle soul, Johnny often showed his affection with a gentle head bump.

Johnny who brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He had a knack for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories through his contagious smile.

He will be profoundly missed by his guardian, Alicia Boswell, and his best friends and housemates, Patrick Downey and Bobby Johnson.
