Jonathan Stroud

Jonathan Shane Stroud, 40, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was born in Lubbock on April 14, 1981 to Timothy and Patricia (Conway) Stroud. Shane grew up in this area and graduated from Coronado High School in 1999. He was a quick-witted person with a great sense of humor who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends all of whom he loved dearly. Shane enjoyed watching movies, learning about history, listening to music and supporting his Texas Tech sports teams. He worked for the past three years for Tyler Technologies. Shane loved the Lord and was a member of The Grace Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are daughter, Leighton of San Antonio; parents, Patricia and Richard Browning of Wolfforth; brother, Scott and wife, Melissa Stroud of Southlake; nephews, Jacob Stroud of Denton, Owen Stroud and Zachary Stroud of Southlake and niece, Audrey Stroud of Southlake.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tim Stroud and brother, Steven Stroud.

Visitation for Shane will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 9am with a memorial service to follow at 10am at the Venue on Broadway. Inurnment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park with arrangements under the personal care of Combest Family Funeral Homes.
