Jose Nunez Morales

Jose Luis Nunez Morales, born on August 26, 1965, in Mexico, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, in Lubbock at the age of 60. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, whose life was marked by a deep devotion to his family and an unwavering commitment to his work. In his professional life, Jose dedicated many years to his business as the owner of Accurate Auto Repair. His passion for working on cars was not just a career for him but a lifelong hobby that brought him immense joy. 

Outside of his career, he cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Jose's love for family was evident in his daily actions, and he fondly created memories that his grandchildren will carry with them always. He also had a love for cowboy movies, and he enjoyed the ranch life and the companionship of his pets, all of which added to the rich tapestry of his life.

Jose is survived by his devoted wife of more than 30 years, Maria Isidra Nunez, along with their children: Mayra Alejandra Nunez, Jessica Esmeralda Nunez and her husband Fermin Romo, Jr., and Lewis Alberto Nunez, all of Lubbock. He leaves behind four siblings: Martha Nunez, Sandra Morales, Oracio Nunez, and Jose Alberto Nunez, all residing in Lubbock, and eight grandchildren, especially Fat Boy Nova.
