Jose Siqueiros

Jose Siqueiros, 74, of Lubbock, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Jose was born in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico to the late Manuel Siqueiros and Concepcion Macias. 

He worked for the PeMex Oil Company before coming to the United States. Prior to retirement, he worked at Texas Tech University in environmental services. He loved fossils, history, driving, and was a builder of many things. He was raised and reared in the Catholic faith. 

Jose leaves behind his wife, Rosa Siqueiros Martinez of Chihuahua; four adoring children: Anna Rangel, Laura Siqueiros, Jose Siqueiros Jr., and Alejandro Siqueiros. Grandchildren: Andres, Jason, Ana, Josiah, Maxx, Mia, Jose and Zephania. His siblings: Elda Siqueiros, Armando Siqueiros, Guillermo Siqueiros, Rafael Siqueiros, Ana Siqueiros Romero, and Isela Siqueiros of Chihuahua, Mexico. He was preceded by the death of his parents Manuel and Concepcion Siqueiros, and two brothers Manuel and Sergio Siqueiros. 

Per the family, no visitation or services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Inurnment of the cremains will be held in Mexico later.
