Kathy Ann Womble

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathy Ann Womble, age 74, who departed this life on June 30, 2025. Born in Borger, Texas, on November 28, 1950.

A devoted mother, she is survived by her beloved son, Jeffrey Scott Balser, her two cherished grandsons Caleb Gavin Balser and Alexander Cade Balser. Also, her sister, Betty Anderson and brothers Bill Womble and W.C. "Dub" Womble. She is preceded in death by her parents, R. E. "Boy" and Helen Womble and sisters Donna Smith, Peggy Fondren, and Louise Lyons.

Kathy’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of many in her community and beyond. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, compassionate heart, and unwavering support for those she loved. Her legacy lives on through Scott and his boys, whom she deeply adored.

She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

May she rest in eternal peace.
