Kenneth Barton

Kenneth (KB) Barton passed from this life March 22, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. He entered this life March 20, 1951, in Vernon, TX to Willard and Dorothy (Raines) Barton. Kenneth graduated from Vernon High School. After graduation, Kenneth began a career in the oilfield, he worked his way from roustabout to supervisor, retiring in 2015. Kenneth Married Melinda Bellah, February 1984; to this union, they had one daughter, Stephanie and 3 sons, Michael, Matthew, and Kenneth. They made their home in Electra, TX. Kenneth enjoyed playing softball.

Kenneth was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Scott Barton and his parents, Willard and Dorothy Barton. Those remaining to share his memories are his wife, Melinda; his daughter, Stephanie Barton of Wichita Falls, TX; two sons, Michael Barton of Graham, TX and Matthew Barton and wife Samantha of Fort Worth, TX; four grandchildren, Kendrick Barton, Trent Barton, Alex Boyd, and Logan Brake; five sisters, Linda Street and husband Travis, of Fort Worth, TX, Aline Edwards of Wichita Falls, TX, Scherlene Wattenbarger of Vernon,TX, Rita Baker and husband Rick of Electra, TX, and Debra Rich and husband Mike of Wichita Falls, TX; and one brother, Randy Barton and wife Sue Ann of Seymour, TX.
