LaRail Wilson

June LaRail Wilson passed away November 30, 2023, in Fort Worth TX. She was born October 13, 1968, to Waldo and Doris (Brown) Wilson, in Ada OK. LaRail graduated from Shallowater High School, in 1987; she continued her education, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. LaRail worked as a Registered Nurse, serving in multiple roles during her 36 years of service.

LaRail enjoyed taking care of others, was a staunch supporter of the Shallowater Mustangs and Fillies from childhood through adulthood, was a dog lover, enjoyed traveling and the outdoors, and loved cheering for her Kansas City Chiefs. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with and supporting her children, and shopping with her mom and daughter. LaRail was a Christian at heart and attended the Cowboy Church of Erath County.

LaRail was preceded in death her father, Waldo Wilson, of Shallowater. Those remaining to cherish her memories are her daughter, Maki Mitchell (Cade Verett) of Stephenville, TX., her mother, June Wilson of Plano, TX., a stepson, Devon Napper (Natasha Dubas) of Lubbock, TX., a brother Steve Wilson (Kim Wilson) of Plano, TX., a nephew, Logan Wilson (Kaitlyn Wilson) of Arlington, TX.; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

The family of LaRail Wilson will have a visitation on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 5:00-7:00PM, at Combest Family Funeral Homes, Oak Crest Suite, located at 2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX. 79401. A funeral service, to honor and celebrate her life is scheduled for 2:00PM, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at First Baptist Church Shallowater 703 Ave. J, Shallowater, TX. 79363, with Richard Harbison officiating; burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery 15602 TX-493 Loop, Lubbock, TX 79423. Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lubbock.
