Larry Glen Halsell

Larry Glen Halsell, 71, of Brownfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday morning, May 8, 2026. Larry was born on January 1, 1955, in Brownfield, Terry County, Texas, to the late Lonnie Leon Halsell and Kitty Beulah (Thomas) Halsell. Larry was the first New Year’s baby born in Terry County in 1955.

Due to an accident that caused a disability at an early age, Larry could not attend school. However, he loved watching all kinds of western movies and television shows. He was a very kind and gentle soul.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his siblings: Gary Lee Halsell of San Diego, CA, Judy Halsell of Brownfield, Dan Halsell of Adkins, Kelven “Pee Wee” Halsell of Bellingham, WA, Brenda Keener of Wharton and Brad Halsell of Brownfield, as well as his cousins, nieces and nephews.

No services are currently planned for Larry.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
