Larry Don Williams

Larry Don Williams (70) passed away July 17, 2026, in Lubbock, TX. He was born May 2, 1956, to Terrell Carroll “Tuck” and Mahota Lee (Roseberry) Williams, in Lubbock, TX. After completing high school, Larry entered the United States Navy, proudly serving his country. He became an E8 while serving and was a mechanical engineer; later, becoming a mechanical engineer consultant. Larry retired from the United States Navy, after serving 23 years and receiving the honor of distinguished engineering consultant. After receiving his honorable discharge, Larry enjoyed motorcycles, the beach, and skiing.

Larry was a dedicated provider for his family. He worked hard to ensure those he cared about were taken care of. After serving 23 years of distinguished service, with the United States Navy, Larry continued working as an engineering consultant; he was highly sought after for his knowledge as a mechanical engineer. Larry’s work took him on travels around the world. He took comfort, in his final days, being with his kids; quoting Psalm 23 and leaning into the Lord to take him to his eternal home. Larry will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother, Terrell “Tuck” and Mahota Williams, and a sister, Sonya Williams. Those remaining to carry on his legacy and cherish his memory are his daughter and son, Ainsley (Jason) Brown and Daniel Williams; grandchildren, Memphis, Knox, Aubrey, Rowan, and Dawson Brown, and a brother, Terry Williams.

In honoring Larry’s wishes, cremation will take place, under the direction of Combest Family Funeral Home, Lubbock. A memorial service, to honor Larry’s life and military career will be scheduled later. Please check back with us for a scheduled location, date, and time. Larry will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
