Linda Perry, born Linda Swanepoel on August 9, 1954, in Johannesburg, South Africa, passed away on May 25, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. She was a woman who loved spending time with her family and enjoyed shopping, simple pleasures that brought her much joy throughout her life.

Linda will be remembered and celebrated at a Celebration of Life service on June 6, 2026. The gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:00 a.m. at the Pearl Church of Christ, located at 6790 FM 183, Evant, Texas 76525.

She leaves behind a son, Tinus Janse Van Rensburg, and his wife, April; a daughter, Tania Langford; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Jake and his wife Tyann; Sharon, Claire, Jax, Emma, and great-grandson Wesley. Linda’s family circle further includes her brother Jerry Swanepoel and sisters Elise Pienaar and Gene Janse Van Rensburg. She also cherished Doug Atchley and her special friend Butch Black, along with many nieces and nephews who held a place in her heart.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jesaja and Emmarentia Swanepoel.

Her family invites those who knew and loved Linda to join in celebrating her life, sharing memories, and honoring the legacy she leaves behind. In these moments together, they will remember a beloved woman whose warmth and kindness were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
