It is with great respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Ann Rebstock, who left us on March 27, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. Born on October 1, 1954, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Linda lived a life marked by dedication to her family, her profession, and a profound commitment to continuous learning.
Linda's journey was characterized by academic excellence and professional accomplishment. She earned her bachelor's degrees in nursing and psychology, as well as her master's degree in nursing, all from the University of Texas. Her distinguished educational path laid the foundation for a long and fulfilling career as a registered nurse. For many years, she devoted herself to the care of others in home health and nursing homes, embodying compassion and skill. She retired in 2010, leaving behind a legacy of service to countless individuals and families.
A woman of strong values, Linda loved her family deeply and treasured the bonds she nurtured throughout her life. She was known for her warm heart and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning, continually seeking knowledge and growth with grace and humility.
Linda is survived by her beloved son, Dylan Rebstock, wife Sarah; her cherished mother, Betty Ann Barton; and her loving sisters, Cindy Arend, husband Mark, and Suzee Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Miller. Each family member reflects a part of Linda's enduring spirit and the love she so generously shared.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Linda Ann Rebstock will be held on April 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Combest Family Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas, located at 2210 Broadway Street, 79401. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering a remarkable life lived with kindness and purpose.
Linda's passing is deeply mourned by all who knew her. Her legacy remains a beacon of dedication, love, and perseverance, inspiring all who had the privilege to know her. While her presence will be profoundly missed, her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
