Lois Greathouse Jackson

Lois Greathouse Jackson stepped into her Savior's presence in heavenly glory on June 10, 2013 at her home in Boerne, Texas. Alma Eloise was born in Sulphur, Okla. to William and Myrtle Perry. She was the third of seven children and as a child, the family moved to the O'Donnell area. Lois married Frank Greathouse Jr. on Dec. 3, 1939 and they resided in Tahoka until his death in 1978.

Lois was a long time employee of Lyntegar Electric and retired in 1977. She married O.D. Jackson of Gail, Texas in 1979 and they resided in Snyder until his death in 1989. At that time she moved to Medford, Oregon. Lois moved from Medford to Boerne in 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, LaRhea Greathouse Smith of Boerne, and Frank Greathouse (Carol) of Santa Fe, Texas; one brother, Ed Perry (Mary Ann) of San Diego, California; as well as five grandchildren; and14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held for friends and family at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Tahoka Cemetery with Combest Family Funeral Homes of Tahoka in charge of the service.
