Manuel Flores, Sr.

Manuel Flores, Sr., 86, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away April 16, 2026. He was born June 15, 1939, to Reymunda and Eleberto Flores in Andice, Texas.

Manuel loved going to church, going to church activities and spending time with his family and friends. He was always studying the bible and he wrote and sang his own songs. He played different instruments.  Manuel loved playing the guitar. He loved meeting and talking to new people.

Left to cherish his memory include his son, Manuel (Lupita) Flores, Jr.; daughter, Dina (Gilbert) Hernandez; brothers, Felipe and Edward Flores, Eliseo Pequeno, and Juanita Anderson; grandchildren, Rico, Alfonso, and Steven Hernandez, Manuel Angel Flores and Mia Flores; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Lucia Hernandez.

 Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Flores.

A visitation will be held from 2-8 pm, Friday, April 24, 2026, at Combest Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10 am, Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Christian Life Assembly of God with Pastor John Murdoch officiating. Burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
